STARZ Class Attire
NO street clothes in the dance classroom.
ONLY black Starz tank tops can be purchased and worn during class,
over your black leotard.
Tots and Pre-combination are required to wear any color leotard, tan
tights, pink ballet shoes and tan Bloch tap shoes with buckles.
Combination classes are required to wear a black leotard, tan stirrup
tights (*No pink tights), pink split sole ballet shoes, and tan Bloch buckle
tap shoes.
Hour classes are required to wear a black leotard, tan stirrup tights (*No
pink tights), pink split sole ballet shoes, black hip hop sneakers, Capezio
Foot Undeez, tan Bloch jazz shoes, and please see your teacher for your
tap shoe requirements.
ALL CLASSES' Hair should be pulled back away from the face and neck in
a ponytail.

STARZ Class Observation
During the first week of September, November, January, March, and May
the blinds will be open to view your dancer's accomplishments.

STARZ Attendance
To ensure that each student enjoys a sense of pride and accomplishment
from working so hard all year to complete their dances; there will be only
six excused absences* for the dance year. If a situation arises that a
student goes beyond this, it will be at the discretion of the teacher to
allow the student to continue in the dance performance. Of course in
extenuating circumstances a meeting with the parent will be arranged.
Please understand that the choreography and success of each dance's
technical skills require attendance and commitment. Remember that
dancing is a team effort and we rely on each other, just like any other
sport when someone is missing the team is off on spacing, formations, and
learning new steps at an equal pace.
*Competition dances are allowed four excused absences.
